Snowflakes

Snowflake, snowflake, little snowflake. Little snowflake falling from the sky. Snowflake, snowflake, little snowflake. Falling, falling, falling, falling, falling, falling, falling, falling, falling, falling onĀ  my head (http://bussongs.com/songs/little-snowflake.php).

Wow, that nursery rhyme gets in your head. Did I get your attention? TheĀ theme of the 2017 Shuttlebirds Workshop is, you guessed it “Snowflakes.” This is the perfect time of year to start making snowflakes. Shuttlebirds will host their annual workshop May 4-7, 2017, at Ross Point Camp and Conference Center in Post Falls, Idaho. The contest this coming year is to make up to 12 different snowflakes. The categories include mini, medium, large, and three-dimensional sizes plus the classes are original design, published pattern, and beaded design. Each snowflake must have six to eight points and be tatted in white thread. Please see Shuttlebirds.com for more details. You need not be present to participate.

Picture yourself sitting in a comfy chair, drinking hot chocolate by the fire, tatting and singing”Snowflakes.” Enjoy!
