Wednesday’s Weekly Challenge #17 – Flower

Welcome back to the Wednesday Weekly Challenge.  Each Wednesday we will be posting a link to a free pattern and challenging you, the reader, to try it.  In addition to the pattern link, we will post a picture of how our tatting turned out when we followed the pattern. Following the challenge, we will feature reader completions of past challenges.

Weekly Challenge #17 – Flower Small Motif

This week’s pattern was created by Jane Eborall. It is a lovely flower motif and I have fallen in love with it. If you look to closely at my picture you will find my mistake. Personally, I think it turned out beautiful, but I could be biased as it was worked up in my favorite color and now I look forward to fall.  Be sure to check out Jane’s other amazing patterns!

It can lay flat (especially if you don’t make my mistake of adding extra stitches), but I liked the way it was naturally curving. I hope you have as much fun with this pattern as I did.
